Lost and Found

The Charleston County Aviation Authority Police Department maintains lost property in accordance to SC Code of Laws 27-21-20.

Officer Josh Morrison is the property custodian for the airport police department.

If you believe you have left something in the terminal building or parking areas, please call and check with the Communications Center at 843.767.1100. You may contact Officer Josh Morrison at jmorrison@iflyCHS.com. He is available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Any items found at the airport of a valuable nature are secured in a safe and can only be picked up between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For special arrangements to pick up an item please contact Officer Morrison. To have items mailed, you will be asked to provide a credit card number. Shipping is provided through FedEx. Items that are not claimed by the property owner within 90 days are disposed of in accordance with state law.

The Aviation Authority Police Department does not store food items or other perishable items. The Police Department also does not store items left behind on aircrafts or in rental cars. Please contact the airline or car rental company directly in reference to those items left behind on aircraft or in rental cars.
