Concessions at Charleston International Airport
In 2013, the Charleston County Aviation Authority awarded the primary food service concession contract at Charleston International Airport to award-winning Delaware North Travel Hospitality Services. Delaware North, under a joint venture with a qualified Airport Concessions Disadvantage Business Enterprise, built and operates nine dining locations throughout the airport. These include several prominent local restaurant concepts as well as national brands including: Caviar and Bananas (two venues), Charleston Beer Works, DeSano’s Pizza Bakery, Harvest & Grounds (two venues), Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear Grill, Samuel Adams Brewhouse, Burger King
Another airport concession industry leader, Hudson Group, operates eight retail outlets in the terminal that include recognized local and national brands: Hudson Store (three venues; one with the Dunkin’ Donuts and Saffron Bakery brands), Low Country Harley-Davidson, Tech on the Go, Eddie Bauer, Veranda News. Hudson has teamed up with Veranda News, its long-term ACDBE joint venture partner, to provide a selection of retail and convenience offerings to the traveling public.
