Aviation Authority spreads holiday cheer in support of Toys for Tots

11/26/2014

The Charleston County Aviation Authority is proud to once again be a donation site for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

“Airport employees, passengers, visitors and anyone who comes to the airport over the holidays are all invited to donate to this great cause,” said Airports Director Paul Campbell. “We want to make sure that all children in our community have a merry Christmas.”

New unwrapped toys can be placed in the collection boxes located inside Charleston International Airport at the Discover Charleston store, at the Information Desk and in the second floor CCAA reception area for the administrative offices. An additional drop off site is in the lobby of the CCAA Police Department on Porsche Boulevard.

Founded in 1947, Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.
