Finding information on the go about arriving and departing flights at Charleston International Airport just got easier.
This week, the airport converted its web site to a mobile responsive design, making it easier to look up information on mobile phones and tablets.
“The new design puts the information passengers need front and center on their desktop as well as on their mobile phones and tablets,” said Charlene Gunnells, manager of corporate communications. “The new web pages also give the site an updated, fresh, modern feel and look.”
The home page at www.chs-airport.com is designed to make it easy for passengers to find information about ground transportation, visiting Charleston and travel information. Also more prominent is real-time data on flight tracking, arriving and departing flights and links to airline and rental car company web sites for booking.
New interactive graphics and photographs connect passengers and web users to useful news and information about the airport and about the Terminal Redevelopment and Improvement Program (TRIP) currently under way. The site also makes it easier for people to connect and engage with the airport via its social media sites, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.
