United Airlines at Charleston International Airport will begin flying to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) three times a day this summer.
“Starting this summer we’re offering more flights, to more destinations at more convenient times than in recent memory,” Scott Kirby, president of United Airlines said in a news release. “With bigger and more modern aircraft for many of our flights, we’ll be getting you to the moments that matter most – relaxed and ready to go.”
The increase from one to three daily nonstop flights to Houston begins June 8.
United Airlines has been at Charleston International since April 2004.
In addition to Houston, United currently has 10 daily nonstop departures to and arrivals from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).
