Information Desk moves to new home

The Information Desk – where passengers go to get their most pressing travel and airport questions answered – moved into its new office on the airport’s concourse level this week.

After 14 months in temporary space in baggage claim, the new Information Desk is now located near the airport’s main entrance and the Central Hall where all arriving passengers exit the gates.

The new Information Desk is one part of the $199 million Terminal Redevelopment and Improvement Program (TRIP) that is transforming Charleston International Airport into a modern, bright and updated facility. Construction is schedule to be completed in early spring with the exception of the food court where work will be done in late spring or early summer.
