The Eddie Bauer brand exemplifies innovation, quality and an appreciation for the outdoors. It makes sense that the casual clothing retailer sets up shop in the Lowcountry, which attracts visitors by the millions to its beautiful beaches, coastal wildlife and meandering marshes.

It is the sixth Hudson Group store to open as part of the airport’s Terminal Redevelopment and Improvement Program. Last week, Tech On The Go, an electronics and tech product store that caters to travelers, opened.

“We are so excited to launch Eddie Bauer at the Charleston International Airport. It builds upon Charleston’s beautiful landscape and adventurous spirit,” said Renee Davis, CHS general manager of the Hudson Group. “The outdoors brand, established in 1920, brings a classic yet modernized look and feel to today’s traveling customers. Whether for hiking, fishing, or just catching a flight home, Eddie Bauer is more than just a brand—it is a way of life.”

In conjunction with innovative design and exceptional customer service, Eddie Bauer offers premium-quality clothing, accessories and gear that complement today’s modern outdoor lifestyle.  Whether it’s classic outerwear, legendary down or casual denim, khakis, other apparel and accessories, Eddie Bauer has a full range of styles to complete the casual wardrobe for both men and women.

Hudson Group currently operates Eddie Bauer stores at the Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH), St. Louis International Airport (STL), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and Vancouver International Airport (YVR) with a new store coming to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) in the near future.

Later this fall, Hudson Group will open its third Hudson News at CHS on Concourse A. Hudson Group at CHS also operates Veranda News near ticketing and Low Country Harley Davidson near the security checkpoint.

“As terminal redevelopment wraps up, we are pleased and excited to see great new places for our passengers to shop open for business," said Paul G. Campbell Jr., executive director and CEO of the Charleston County Aviation Authority. "When all the construction is complete, the airport will have some of the finest shopping and dining establishments around.”
