“During my junior year of college, I felt that I had no idea where my career was going and I lacked confidence about what I could do with my degree. This internship has definitely given me a better understanding of what I’m capable of and where my career may take me.”
– Tyus Carter, The Citadel
“I would highly recommend other students take advantage of the Airport Management Internship Program at Charleston International Airport. Not only do you learn about how an airport operates and what is needed for an airport to function properly, but you also learn life lessons from the wonderful employees here.”
– Temarrick Hemmingway, SC State University Tight End, Los Angeles Rams
“My main focus in school has been in the public transportation and community development fields, so being able to spend by summer here at CHS has piqued my interest in this particular aspect of transportation. I had been so focused on one particular aspect of transportation that I never thought to look into airports, but sometimes you don’t realize you like something until you’ve been introduced to it.”
– Claudia Thompson, SC State University
