CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston County Aviation Authority Police Department (CCAAPD) Lieutenant Brian Query has been selected to attend the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy (FBINA) in Quantico, Virginia. The FBI National Academy is a program of the FBI Academy for active U.S. law enforcement personnel and also for international law enforcement personnel who seek to enhance their credentials in their field and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and also cooperation worldwide.

The 10-week program—which provides coursework in intelligence theory, terrorism and terrorist mindsets, management science, law, behavioral science, law enforcement communication, and forensic science—serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide.

“The FBI National Academy has a legacy of preparing law enforcement professionals to better serve and lead their communities and personnel,” said Paul Campbell, airport director and CEO. “We are proud to have Brian selected for this opportunity. It speaks highly of his hard work and dedication to law enforcement and the airport industry.”

Query, a 17-year law enforcement veteran, is currently assigned to the CCAAPD Patrol Bureau.
