Charleston executives are on island this week to celebrate their newly formed partnership with BermudAir.

The airline launched non-stop service to the South Carolina city recently, adding Charleston to its growing list of destinations.

We spoke with Helen Hill, Chair of the Charleston International Airport Authority and CEO of Explore Charleston, about what Bermuda travelers can expect from the historic southern city.

BermudAir’s Charleston flights operate weekly on Saturdays, with a flight time of just over two hours.

Beyond tourism, Ms. Hill said the partnership opens the door to academic and medical exchanges.
